Originally from Czechoslovakia (now Czech Republic), I grew up in Western Pennsylvania. But, the majority of my life, I lived in Denver, Colorado.
My two children and their families are travelers (must be in the genes) and love to explore different places as “experiences” that they will always remember.
In 2004, I moved full-time to Ajijic (a-hee-heek) in central Mexico, just south of Guadalajara on Mexico’s largest fresh-water lake, Lake Chapala. It is a small town with many ex-pats, mainly from the US and Canada. You are never at a loss to find activities to keep you occupied. Whether you enjoy theater, music, art, culture, helping charities and animals, it is difficult to be bored. And, the weather is almost perfect all the year-around (no heat of a/c needed).
